The aim of this programme is to present strategies that can help with motivation, where to start with activity and exercise, how habits are formed and a range of other topics that will help broaden knowledge and understanding of how you eat, but also why.

We want to make the weight loss process more enjoyable and less overwhelming!

The Wirral weigh is a new weight management programme that is aimed at supporting patients during their weight loss journey within a friendly group setting.

It is a 6-week programme and during that time we will touch on various key topics to help clarify and dispel myths around diet, exercise and other factors involved in the weight lose process.

·The first step to the programme is introduction to and previous experiences with weight loss.

·The second step is principles of weight loss and what we can do about it now.

·The third step is activity, exercise and where to start.

·The fourth step is personalising our approach to weight loss.

·The fifth step is clearing up the confusion around nutrition.
